the win. Steadman also went 3-for-4 with a double and senior Scott
Batty went 2-for-3 for Kendall (10-3). Senior Cody Trimm singled and
scored two runs for the Eagles.

Kendall trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth when Ryan Mitchell grounded to second to score Cody Trimm. Zach Romano singled in Mitchell who reached base on a error for the winning run.

BASEBALL: Eagles blank Northstar 5-0
STAFF REPORTS
KENDALL - Opening the diamond season on a high note, Kendall blanked
Northstar 5-0 in a non-league game Thursday.
Tim Steadman pitched the first five innings for Kendall allowing just
three hits with six strikeouts and one walk. Cory Manners came on to
hurl the final two frames giving up no hits with three strikeouts.
Manners and Cody Trimm each had a double.
